NSE suspends trading of seven firms for not responding to its notice

First Leasing, Edserve Softsystems, Birla Power among firms named

The National Stock Exchange has today said that the trading in the equity shares of seven companies including First Leasing Company of India Ltd and Edserve Softsystems Ltd has been suspended with effect from December 10, 2013, as they have failed to respond satisfactorily to the notice of the Exchange for non-compliance with the provisions of listing agreement.

The other companies for which the trading in equity shares has been suspended are Asian Electronics Ltd, Aqua Logistics Ltd, Geodesic Ltd and Birla Power Solutions Ltd.

In one of its announcement, the exchange said, "Members of the Exchange are hereby informed that trading in the equity shares of First Leasing Company of India Limited will be suspended with effect from December 10, 2013 (i.e. closing hours of trading on December 09, 2013) as the company has failed to respond satisfactorily to the notice of the Exchange for non-compliance with the provisions of listing agreement."
