Tata Motors on Thursday reported 5.14 per cent decline in global sales, including that of Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), to 77,575 units in May. The company had sold 81,783 units in the same month last year.
 
ADF Foods shares rallied as much as 18.3 percent intraday on Thursday after its promoter raised stake in the company through block deal.
 
Idea Cellular Limited, India’s third largest cellular operator, said on Thursday that it has priced its Rs 3,000-crore sale of shares to qualified institutional buyers at Rs 134 apiece
 
US private equity firm Bain Capital will sell half its holding in Hero MotoCorp, worth up to $393 million (about Rs 2,328 crore). The stake will be sold through open market transactions on Friday. According to the term sheet prepared by Citibank, the banker for the deal, Bain will offload 4.29 per cent stake in the Delhi-based company, selling 8.57 million shares through an accelerated book building offering.
 
State-run SAIL's around 85,000 non-executives will soon get higher pay packages as the Steel Ministry has approved the long-pending wage revision in the Maharatna company after Steel Minister Narendra Singh Tomar last evening approved a 17% hike in basic and dearness allowances and 6% rise in perks for the company's non-executive employees
