The trading volumes on the counter jumped over five-fold with a combined 1.69 million shares representing 12% of total equity of the company changed hands on the BSE and NSE till 12:25 p.m.
The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 190 on the BSE in intra-day trade today. It zoomed 245% from Rs 55 thus far in 2015 against 6% fall in the S&P BSE Sensex.
The company had reported a net profit of Rs 2.07 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2015 against Rs 73 lakh in the same quarter last fiscal. It had posted profit of Rs 63 lakh in entire previous financial year 2014-15.
