Saria strengthens on fresh stockists buying
Saria prices rose by Rs 200 per tonne on the wholesale steel and iron market today on fresh buying by stockists following pick up in demand.
Traders said increased offtake by stockists to a rise in demand pushed up wholesale saria prices.
In the saria section, Kamdhenu 8-mm, 10-mm and 12-mm were up by Rs 200 each to 40,700, Rs 42,400 and Rs 41,100 per tonne, respectively.
Similarly, the saria 16-25-mm traded higher by the same margin to Rs 38,950 per tonne.
