Sensex down 57pts; Hindalco adds 2%

In the last one hour, the index is showing sideways movemenent and is now at 12,067 - down 57 points.

Hindalco, Ranbaxy and Tata Power have added over 2% each at Rs 64, Rs 181 and Rs 921, respectively.

DLF, Reliance Communications and Reliance Infrastructure have gained over 1.5% each at Rs 265, Rs 241 and Rs 805, respectively.

ICICI Bank has slumped over 3% to Rs 551. TCS and Sterlite have declined over 2.5% each at Rs 633 and Rs 456, respectively. Jaiprakash Associates, Wipro and Infosys have slipped 1.5% each at Rs 145, Rs 363 and Rs 1,559, respectively. 

The market breadth is positive- out of 2,034 shares traded, 1,316 have advanced and 646 have declined so far.
