Sensex down 76pts; DLF zooms 13%

The Sensex is now down 76 points at 10,733.

DLF has zoomed 13% to Rs 339. Reliance Communications has soared 8.8% to Rs 257.

Hindustan Unilever has surged over 7% to Rs 248, and HDFC has rallied over 6% to Rs 1,818.

Sterlite has gained 3.7% at Rs 303. Satyam has moved up 2.7% to Rs 280.

Bhari Airtel and SBI are up 2% each at Rs 734 and Rs 1,527, respectively.

Tata Motors has slumped 11% to Rs 252. Hindalco has tumbled 10% to Rs 72.

TCS and Grasim have plunged around 8% each to Rs 498 and Rs 1,374, respectively.

Mahindra & Mahindra and Larsen & Toubro have dropped over 6% each to Rs 454 and Rs 837, respectively.

Reliance has shed 5.5% at Rs 1,435, and BHEL has dropped 5% to Rs 1,326.

Out of 2,585 stocks traded so far, 1,806 have declined, 715 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
