Sensex down 77pts; HDFC Bank, RCom firm
The NSE Nifty is down 12 points at 5,100.
Cipla has dropped 3.3% to Rs 217. Maruti, Tata Steel and ICICI Bank have slipped nearly 2% each to Rs 723, Rs 788 and Rs 900, respectively.
Infosys has shed 1.7% at Rs 1,658. Wipro, ACC, and Tata Motors have declined over 1% each to Rs 460, Rs 775 and Rs 633, respectively.
Jaiprakash Associates has surged 3.3% to Rs 254. Reliance Energy has rallied 2.3% to Rs 1,390.

HDFC Bank and Reliance Communications (RCom) have moved up 1.7% each to Rs 1,525 and Rs 587, respectively.
HDFC is up 1% at Rs 2,721.
Out of 2,659 stocks traded so far, 1,410 have advanced, 1,179 have declined and 70 are unchanged.
