The NSE Nifty is up 32 points at 4,191.
BHEL has surged 3.7% to Rs 1,563.
HDFC Bank has rallied over 3% to Rs 1,118. Tata Steel, Reliance Communications and Cipla have gained 2.7% each at Rs 615, Rs 459 and Rs 233, respectively.
Reliance Infrastructre has moved up 2.3% to Rs 880. Grasim and Hindalco have added 2% each to Rs 1,763 and Rs 145, respectively.

Maruti has plunged 8.5% to Rs 593.

Bharti Airtel has dropped 1.5% to Rs 786. DLF is down over 1% to Rs 458.
