Jaiprakash (JP) Associates has soared 5.5% to Rs 146.
Reliance Infrastructure, Reliance Communicatons and BHEL have rallied over 3% each to Rs 743, Rs 402 and Rs 1,440, respectively.
Ranbaxy has surged 2.5% to Rs 527. ITC and Mahindra & Mahindra have advanced 2.3% each to Rs 173 and Rs 478, respectively.
