Ranbaxy has soared 6.7% to Rs 437. ITC and Reliance Infrastructure have surged 3% each to Rs 165 and Rs 791, respectively.
HDFC, Hindalco and Bharti Airtel have rallied 2.5% each to Rs 1,846, Rs 142 and Rs 727, respectively.
Jaiprakash Associates, Satyam, Larsen & Toubro and ACC have advanced over 2% each to Rs 149, Rs 407, Rs 2,326 and Rs 537, respectively.
