Sensex up 416pts; Satyam, Wipro slip over 2%

The Sensex is now up 416 points at 10,204.

Tata Motors and Reliance Infrastructure have zoomed around 11% each to Rs 190 and Rs 507, respectively.

ICICI Bank has soared over 10% to Rs 440. DLF has surged 9.5% to Rs 241.

SBI has rallied 9% to Rs 1,210. Hindalco, Larsen & Toubro and HDFC have advanced around 8% each to Rs 65, Rs 871 and Rs 1,902, respectively.

Maruti has advanced over 7% to Rs 605. Jaiprakash Associates has gained over 6% at Rs 76.

Tata Steel has moved up 5.8% to Rs 222. NTPC and Grasim are up 4.3% each at Rs 147 and Rs 1,070, respectively.

Satyam has shed 2.8% at Rs 296, and Wipro has slipped 2% to Rs 267.
 
The market breadth is positive - out of 2,462 stocks traded, 1,842 have advanced, 565 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
