Sensex up again; Rel Communications up 4%

The NSE Nifty is up 12 points at 4,104.

Reliance Communications has soared 3.8% to Rs 452, and Cipla has surged 3.3% to Rs 222.

Ranbaxy has rallied 3% to Rs 451. Hindustan Unilever has moved up 2.7% to Rs 226.

NTPC, ICICI Bank, SBI and HDFC Bank have gained 2.5% each at Rs 178, Rs 633, Rs 1,332 and Rs 1,059, respectively.

ITC has advanced 2% to Rs 180, and ACC has added 1.4% to Rs 546.

Tata Steel and Mahindra & Mahindra are up over 1% each at Rs 600 and Rs 526, respectively.

Satyam has tumbled over 3% to Rs 371. Bharti Airtel has slipped over 2% to Rs 784.

DLF and Larsen & Toubro have shed 1.7% each at Rs 449 and Rs 2,504, respectively.

BHEL and Ambuja Cements are down 1.3% each at Rs 1,510 and Rs 82, respectively.

Out of 2,412 stocks traded so far, 1,367 have declined, 976 have advanced and 69 are unchanged.
