Silver prices moved up by Rs 87 to Rs 48,186 per kg in futures trade today, largely driven by a firming trend overseas.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in July moved up by Rs 87, or 0.18%, to Rs 48,186 per kg in business turnover of 3 lots.
Similarly, the white metal for delivery in May rose by Rs 44, or 0.09%, to Rs 47,256 per kg in 372 lots.
Meanwhile, silver rose as much as 0.20% to $21.21 an ounce in Singapore today.
