“The company have been granted patent from the European Patent office for the company’s innovative design concept in semi-full face wheels, also known as styled wheels,” SSWL said in a statement.
The design is an improvement on existing semi-full-face designs, specially modified to enhance the life-cycle of the product and higher pay load capacity, it added.
These wheels are used in passenger cars and have an appeal (styling) similar to that of alloy wheels, but are economical than the alloys wheels.
The stock opened at Rs 135 and hit a high of Rs 158 after the announcements on NSE. A combined 74,000 shares have changed hands on the counter till 1100 hours against an average around 30,000 shares that were traded daily in past two weeks.
