States Alerted Against New Sugarcane Pest
The agriculture ministry has alerted 16 sugarcane growing states about the attack of a new pest, White Woolly Aphid, on sugarcane crop and has asked them to undertake intensive monitoring to facilitate effective plant protection and preventive measures.
