TCS has gained in trades today following announcement of its Q2 numbers on Friday.
The stock opened at Rs 610 and surged to a high of Rs 618. The stock is now up 2% at Rs 610. Over 121,035 shares have been traded on the BSE so far.
According to a release issued by the company to the BSE, the consolidated net profit increased 30% to Rs 1,642 crore in the quarter ended September 2009 from Rs 1,271 crore in the same quarter in the previous year. The company's revenue jumped over 3% to Rs 7,436 crore from Rs 6,953 crore.
