US markets end up after Fed Res meet
US markets rose on Thursday following the Federal Reserve meeting.
The Dow gained 172 points (2%) at 8,472. The Nasdaq added 37 points (2%) to 1,830.
Indian ADRs were in the green.
ICICI Bank surged 5% to $29.57. Patni Computers rallied 4.5% to $10.89. Dr Reddy's gained 4% at $16.36.
Wipro, HDFC Bank, Sterlite and MTNL added over 3% each to $11.46, $100, $12.04 and $4.07, respectively.
Infosys and Tata Motors moved up 1% each to $36.69-8 and $9.71, respectively.
However, Satyam and Tata Communications slipped 1% each to $3.34 and $18.55, respectively.
