Smartinvestor : Markets have come off their day highs after rebounding in early trades today. The Nifty seems to hover around 5,850 levels. What is your call on the Nifty for July futures expiry?

Chetan Jain : NIfty future after a recent pullback rally in from 5550 zone till 5900 levels is now trading range bound and this consolidation is part of the trading pattern. TIll the time Nifty future is trading in between 5750-5900 levels this range bound may be continued and any sustainable move above or below these levels may give further directional move in the market.. Traders can go for 6000 call or 5700 put option once the range is broken on either side to play the fast moemntum.

Smartinvestor : IndiaBulls Real Estate is among the active stocks in the options segment today. What is your call on the stock at current levels and what strategy can one adopt for July options expiry?

Chetan Jain : IBREALEST is likley to form short term bottom around 60-63 area, stock is witnessing good accumulation around these levels with volume activity suggesting a strong rally may be seen in coming days. To play on a safer side one can either go with naked call of 70 strike price@2 ; max risk: 8000/- per lot and reward may be doublle /triplpe.
