The 2016 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is all set to make its debut in Thailand. The new Pajero Sport receives heavy styling upgrades and the rugged SUV now looks more contemporary with unique styling.
The new Pajero Sport is powered by a new 2.4-liter MIVEC diesel engine that producing 181 hp and mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.The interiors are borrowed from its pickup version, the Triton, but gets a dual tone effect with a large LCD screen, a multi-function steering wheel and dual climate zone air conditioner.
The Pajero Sport hasawheebase of2800mm and awidth of 1,815mm, as the earlier version, however it is 90mm longer at 4785mm. Theground clearance has increased by 13mm to 218mm.
An India launch of this new Mitsubishi is expected in early to mid 2016 and it will compete with the Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour and the upcoming Chevrolet Trailblazer.
