Just so you know, Volvo S60 T6 is the fourth launch in the country by the Swedish automajor after the T4 petrol variant of V40 Cross Country, all-new second-generation Volvo XC90, and V40 hatchback. As for comfort features, the T6 variant has automatic climate control, powered front seats and electric sunroof as standard. It rivals the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, BMW 3-Series and Audi A4. The T6 petrol variant was on sale in India with the pre facelift model of the S60 sedan, but the company discontinued it with the new S60 and launched only diesel variants. The new Volvo S60 T6 flaunts projector LED headlamps with daytime running lights, and LED tail-lamp cluster. Quite identical to every Volvo product, it too comes with an array of sophisticated safety features like ABS, TSC, EBD, BA, etc. to mention a few.
Mechanically, Volvo S60 T6 petrol variant is powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged and supercharged direct injection engine. It generates a maximum power of 304bhp and peak torque of 400Nm, while linked to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Unlike the previous model's AWD setup, this new model of T6 variant comes with front-wheel-drive system. It does a 0-100 km/h sprint in mere 5.9 seconds, while clocking a top speed of 230km/hr. The Volvo S60 T6 petrol variant delivers a fuel efficiency of 15.6 km/l. It would be sold as a completely built unit (CBU) like all the other company cars.
