Militants have ambushed Airport Security Force (ASF) Academy, located near the Karachi Airport, just a day after a siege there left 28 dead.
IG of Sindh Iqbal Mehmood said that 1000 police officers have been sent to the attack site.
Pakistan media reports that at least 5 militants are involved in the attack and they have reportedly tried to destroy planes.
Firing has been reported from two different locations.
Security personnel have also been reportedly injured in the attack.
All flight operations from Jinnah International Airport have been put to halt.
