16 dead, 11 injured as ventilation grate collapses at concert in South Korea
At least 16 people have died and 11 injured as a ventilation grate collapsed at a pop concert in Seongnam in South Korea, say officials.
According to the BBC, they said that due to the ventilation grate collapse, a group of concert-goers fell 10 metres into an underground parking area.
The audience was watching an outdoor performance by the popular Korean band called 4Minute and a few others.
The victims reportedly climbed on the grate to get a better view of the performance.
Rescue workers have warned that the death toll may increase.
