One Direction's latest album 'Midnight Memories' has become the UK's fastest-selling album in two years.
The fans bought 237,000 copies in the first week itself, more than any artist album since Michael Buble's Christmas in 2011, the BBC reported.
'Midnight Memories', their third album, has gone straight to the top of this week's UK albums chart.
Martin Talbot, chief executive of Official Charts Company said that the success really does send a signal that the festive season is almost with them, and One Direction are now real contenders to claim the biggest album of the year.
The boy band also has three tracks in the top 40 of this week's singles chart.
