Jammu and Kashmir Police have apprehended two people involved in snatching a 12-bore rifle from an ATM guard in Kundalan area of Shopian on March 6.
As per a statement issued by the police, a search operation was conducted in the area to nab the accused involved in the weapon-snatching bid.
"After the incident came to light, a case was registered. During the course of investigation, the involvement of two individuals surfaced. Both the accused persons have now been taken into custody," read the statement.
Snatched weapons have been recovered and further interrogation is underway.
