Chris Stapleton has just bagged the best country album at the 58th annual Grammy Awards for his album 'Traveller.'

When the 37-year-old singer went on the stage to receive his honour, he gave a shout-out to Taylor Swift and thanked her, reports People magazine.

Stapleton edged out stiff competition, besting fellow nominees Sam Hunt for his album 'Montevallo,' Little Big Town for 'Painkiller,' Ashley Monroe for 'The Blade,' and Kacey Musgraves for 'Pageant Material for the honors.'

The 58th annual Grammy Awards took place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on February 15.
