A 3-year-old girl from Phoenix, Arizona, who taught herself Spanish using her parents' iPad, has become the youngest member of Mensa.

Alexis Martin's father Ian Martin told ABC affiliate KNXV that his daughter has an IQ of 160, which is well above average of 100 points.

Ian asserted to the TV station that he knew his daughter was special when at 12 to 18-months-old she could clearly recite her bedtime story from the night before.

Ian also revealed that Alexis has an exceptional memory for words and facility for language.
