6.6 magnitude earthquake hits northwest Pakistan

A 6.6-magnitude earthquake struck Pakistan's northwestern region on Saturday.

The epicenter of the quake was in Afghanistan's Hindu Kush Mountains, and it struck Peshawar and adjoining areas.

Tremors were also felt in areas of Mansehra, Chitral, Bajaur, Mingora and Malakand.

No casualties have been reported until now.
