AAP leads in four seats in Punjab, Congress in three

The Aam Aadmi Party was leading in four of the 13 seats up for grabs in Punjab, while the Congress Party was leading in three as per initial trends on Friday.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Arun Jaitley was trailing behind Congress leader Captain (retired) Amarinder Singh in Amrtisar.

The AAP candidates are leading in Faridkot, Fatehgarh Sahib, Patiala and Sangrur, as per a release from the office of the state election office.

When reports last came in, Jaitley is trailing behind Amarinder by 1846 seats.
