The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supporters on Saturday took to the streets of Bhopal in protest against the Vyapam scam.
The protesters, who were lead by party leaders Sanjay Singh and Dilip Pandey, raised slogans and demanded the resignation of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
The AAP is also scheduled to take out rallies in Mumbai and Ludhiana later in the day.
The Supreme Court had earlier this week transferred all cases relating to the Vyapam scam to the Central Bureau of Investigation.
The apex court also issued a notice to the Centre and the Madhya Pradesh Government on the petition demanding the removal of state Governor Ram Naresh Yadav. The court has sought a reply within four weeks.
