Spotify and Adidas have partnered for an offline playback on the Adidas SmartRun watch and sound-tracking a jog with the help of RunKeeper.
According to engadget.com, the Adidas Go varies music based on movement of the user which is tracked by their iPhone's accelerometer.
The app measures stride rate using accelerometer of smart-phone and matches songs from Spotify's library based on their listening habits to help them keep pace.
The data like time, distance and pace can all be reviewed, saved and used to calculate their Adidas MiCoach RunScore when the run is over.
The users should have an iPhone 4S or later for this app to work. The free app is available on iTunes.
