People thronged the Rabindra Kanan Park in Agartala to witness the annual Winter Flower Exhibition-cum-competition.
The four-day show, organized by the State Horticulture Society featured over 360 varieties of colorful flowers.
Inaugurating the event, Chief Minister Manik Sarkar said colourful flowers spread messages of peace, love and happiness.
The exhibition included 100 varieties of Rose, 200 varities of Anthurium, 50 varieties of Orchid, Chrysanthemum, Marigold, Dahlia, Petunia, Gerbera and Salvia.
Themes includedglobal warming, nature, love,, world peace,, denouncement of femal foeticide,promotion of literacy,, save the tiger,, pride and passion to name a few.
