Ajay Maken slams AAP party over not forming Lokpal

Congress Leader Ajay Maken on Saturday slammed the AAP party over not forming the Lokayukta.

Speaking to ANI he said, "Tomorrow in Delhi's 14 districts we are organizing a dharna in which we demand for the formation of the Lokpal."

He pointed out that the "shocking fact is that the AAP party which was formed over the Lokpal issue left the govt within 49 days saying they were not allowed to form the Lokpal"

Coming Aug 14 they will be completing six months and there is no trace of Lokpal, even the older Lokayukt is also not being formed. He asked "why are they scared", and added "We have lodged a complaint against their 29 leaders in Lokayukt office

"Are they scared because two of their leaders are already in the jail and they don't want to lose any more of them. It has been six months since the party was formed over the Lokpal issue and yet there is no trace of Lokpal and we want answers for that..

"We are organizing a dharna tomorrow in 14 district head quarters and still if the issue is not solved we will go to the roads and colonies to fight this issue", Ajay Maken said.
