With Karan Johar introducing the "two most wonderful additions" to his life - Roohi and Yash to the world today, his 'B-Town kid' Alia Bhatt can't stop gushing about it.

Taking to her Twitter page, the 23-year-old actress wrote, "Finally I can say I have a younger brother AND sister!!!!!! So so so happy...soo much love to give uff bursting with joy!!!!!"

The 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' director named his newborns after his parents - Yash for the baby boy after his father and Roohi, as an anagram of his mother's name Hiroo.

In a statement, the 44-year-old director, who resorted to surrogacy and stayed put with all the proceedings of the baby's birth, said "I feel enormously blessed to be a parent to these pieces of my heart who were welcomed into this world with the help of the marvels of medical science."

He also thanked the surrogate, "who has fulfilled his lifelong dream and provided a warm, loving and nurturing environment to his children before bringing them into this world" and Dr. Jatin Shah for "his guidance and support and for being like a family member through this wonderful and exciting journey."

Johar first made public his intention of being a parent in his recently released memoir titled 'The Unsuitable Boy.'

On the work front, his Dharma Productions is set to release 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' starring Alia and Varun Dhawan.
