Bharaitya Janata Party (BJP) President Amit Shah on Friday paid tribute to party's ideologue Deen Dayal Upadhyay.
Speaking at Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Shatabdi Samaroh, Shah said, "A person like Deen Dayal Upadhyay never did anything for himself. He never did anything to get famous."
Shah added, "He founded a party which started with ten people and has come up to be 11 crore now."
Shah further said that he feels privileged to be able to hold the same post in the party which Upadhyay once held.
Shah also urged people to work towards the betterment of Indian politics by working on the lines of Upadhyay .
