Amravati Express delayed due to fire in rear engine

The rear engine of Amravati Express caught fire at Cansaulim railway station in South Goa on Sunday morning.

"A rear engine of the Vasco Da Gama to Howrah Amravati express caught fire near Cansaulim railway station in South Goa on Sunday, delaying the train for nearly two hours," said a South Western Railway spokesperson.

The engine was replaced and the train left for Howrah station in Kolkata.

No one was injured in the incident.
