The Maharashtra Anti-terrorist Squad (ATS) on Sunday arrested 24-year-old Shahid Khan from Parbhani district on charges of allegedly having links with the ISIS.
Several explosives and other instruments were also seized from his possession.
The ATS team, however, refused to divulge further details, saying information on the same will be provided once the accused is produced before the court.
Earlier on July 14, Naser bin Yafai Chaus, a suspected ISIS operative, was arrested by the ATS. He has been sent to police custody till July 20 by an Aurangabad court.
The 31-year-old was reportedly in touch with another wanted accused Farooque based in Syria. He was also allegedly trying to influence youth through social networking sites using different handles and profiles.
