ANSYS and Cummins India Foundation have been promoting women-led engineering research and simulation through the Centre of Research and Intellectual Entrepreneurship (CeRIE) to foster a culture of research and innovation for female engineers.

The centre aims to inculcate research and innovations culture in faculty and students at Center for the Creation of Economic Wealth (CCEW) and to act as a significant catalyst for promoting engineering research and simulation in the region with emphasis on development of women engineers.

"ANSYS is proud to enable a talented pool of highly-skilled female engineers with industry-ready resources. We are eager to see the simulation advancements and resulting innovations that come from CeRIE students," said Country Manager, ANSYS Rafiq Somani.

Executive Director, engineering and chief technical officer, Cummins India, Mark Firth said that ABO Cummins has always been at the forefront when it comes to women empowerment at the workplace.

"We have seen excellent contribution by our women employees in research and technology. Therefore, we are very happy to collaborate with ANSYS and look forward to create an ocean of opportunities for students through this initiative," he added.
