A new feature arriving in the upcoming version of Apple's iOS operating system, iOS 8.3, will make it easier for users to download free apps.

According to TechCrunch, using a new option under the "iTunes and App Store" section with the iOS Settings application, Apple users will be allowed to disable the password requirement for free apps and other downloads.

They will only be required to tap the "Get" button on iTunes and the app will be sent to their device.

The feature is expected to make acquiring new users easier for free app developers.
