Apple has introduced the iPad Pro, which is a 12.9-inch tablet which will be running on the new iOS 9.

According to The Next Web, the display contains 5.6 million pixels at a 2732 x 2048 resolution. The panel also includes a variable refresh rate that allows it to save energy by only refreshing the panel as often as necessary for the on-screen content.

The display has more capacitive sensors for more accurate sensitivity to the user's finger inputs but it lacks Force Touch as seen in new iPhone 6s and 6s Plus.
The iPad Pro will playback sound using four different speakers when listening to music or gaming, from which it will select the optimal configuration depending on whether the tablet is in landscape or portrait mode. Apple says these speakers have been optimized for high dynamic range and frequency response.
It is powered by a new third-gen A9x chip which the company claims is 1.8x faster than its predecessor. Also, the company says it is faster than 80 percent of the portable computers shipped in the last quarter.
In addition, Apple is claiming the iPad Pro will still last for ten hours of average use.

Also, the company is unveiled a new keyboard called the Smart Keyboard. The keys use Apple's new dome switches and it folds onto the tablet
Apple is also introducing a stylus which they call the Apple Pencil.
It has pressure detection as well as two sensors for it to know which way it is tilted for advanced shading techniques. The users could paint using the Pencil's side to shade with a wider, lighter spread. Apple says it's so precise it can touch a single pixel, in addition to very low latency that is supposed to feel like real pencil on paper.

The company says that the Pencil will last hours on a charge, but can recharge with a Lightning Connector, which plugs into the iPad Pro's own port. Neither accessory will be included with the tablet.

Apple says the iPad Pro and related accessories will be available in November. The price of the device begins at USD 799 for 32GB of storage, USD 949 for 128GB and going up to USD 1079 for a 128 GB model with cellular connectivity.
The Smart Keyboard will cost USD 169, while the Apple Pencil will cost USD 99.
