The General Officer Commanding of the Pakistan Army's Southern Command, Lt. Gen. Aamir Riaz has reportedly claimed that some countries, including India, are involved in acts of terrorism in his country.

The Dawn quoted Lt. Gen. Riaz, as saying that these nations are trying to create obstacles in the way of ongoing development projects in Balochistan.

Referring to the arrest of Indian national (Kulbhushan Jadhav) in Balochistan a few months ago, he said that Pakistan had irrefutable proof that he was an agent of India's external intelligence agency, the Research and Analysis Wing (R&AW), and was involved in sabotage activities inside Pakistan.

He said Jadhav has confessed to being involved in subversion activities in both Karachi and Balochistan.

He said armed forces of Pakistan with the help of the people would foil all conspiracies against the country.
