Assam CM asks for fund from Centre for development of north-east

Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi on Tuesday asked the Centre to allocate more funds for the development of north-east.

"There is no trainer and no facility for training. Our private and public sector is limited. That is why I have said fund is required from the Central Government for north-east," Gogoi told the media here.

"There are many unemployed people. If skill is not developed then employment opportunity will decrease. This government has given importance on skill development," he added.
