At least eight killed in suicide blast near Lahore Police Lines in Pakistan

At least eight people have been killed in a suicide blast near Police Lines in Qila Gujar Singh area of Lahore in Pakistan.

According to the Express Tribune, a suicide bomber came to a hotel outside the Police Lines where he blew himself up.

Security officials and rescue teams have reached the explosion site where the injured are being moved to a hospital.

Several cars parked outside also caught fire and high plumes of smoke were visible.

The site of the explosion is quite close to Pakistan Railway headquarters.
