B-town mourns passing of Rajshri CEO Rajjat Barjatya

Rajjat Barjatya, the MD and CEO of Rajshri Media has passed away yesterday at a hospital in Mumbai, after losing a battle to cancer.

According to sources, Rajjat, the cousin of filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya had been battling with cancer since last three months and was admitted in Jaslok hospital from last few days.

Celebrities including Salman Khan, Boman Irani, Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi, Swapnil Joshi and Richa Chadda have offered their condolences via tweets.

"Rest in peace my brother Rajjat Barjatya", tweeted Salman Khan.

"Shocked and saddened to learn of Rajjat Barjatya's demise. May God give strength to the family to bear the loss. Heartfelt condolences. RIP," tweeted film critic Taran Adarsh.

Riteish Deshmukh shared, "Rajjat Barjataya - RIP - Noble, kind, warm & a true gentleman. Prayers & condolences to the family."

#RIP @RajjatBarjatya a wonderful human being gone too soon!," tweeted Vivek Oberoi.

As per sources, the cremation ceremony is likely to take place tomorrow at the Worli crematorium.
