Barcelona players will be giving a special send off to Spanish mid-fielder Xavi by wearing special shirts in his last game for the club.

Xavi, who joined the club at the age of 11, would be ending his 24-year association after playing against Deportivo La Coruna at the Nou Camp on Saturday.

Players would be wearing the shirts saying "thank you Xavi" before the team would celebrate their 23rd La Liga title with Xavi ready to lift the cup.

Xavi said that it was a tough decision for him to make, adding that he couldn't have a better career, the BBC reported.

Xavi, who would be earning his eighth La Liga medal, will join Qatari side Al Saad.
