David Beckham has been voted as the most 'Stylish Man of the Year' at the '2013 GQ Men of the Year Awards' held at the Komische Oper in Berlin, Germany.
Jose RedondoVega, editor-in-chief of GQ Germany said that the 38-year-old former football player represents style and fashion influence, like no other athlete, Us magazine reported.
He added that by his trendsetting and often daring appearances, he has created a bridge between the world of design, models, and photographers, and the world of world-class sports.
Through this he has brought glamour back to a male sport, he said.
Beckham was seen wearing a dark suit, white shirt, and pencil tie for the event.
