Experts have said that it is very important to have a fixed time for workouts if one wants to achieve a specific goal without putting extra hours or efforts.

A research from the American Council on Exercise has revealed that if one wants to lose weight, the optimum time of the day to exercise is early morning, the Huffington Post reported.

According to the study, people who exercise soon after waking up, tend to be more consistent about working out more often than those who work out at other times of the day.

If a person's goal is to get stronger, then he should exercise in late afternoon or early evening, as people are naturally pumped up from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Researchers have found that testosterone seems to be most responsive to exercise at this time of day and the body temperature is at its peak.

The body tends to be more flexible, stronger at this hour, and the lungs work more efficiently, boosting one's endurance capacity for tough workouts.

If one wants to sleep better, then exercising right after waking up is the best, as exposure to daylight soon after waking up has the effect of putting a time stamp on the brain.
