Grammy award-winning R&B legend Anita Baker will be honoured at this year's BET Awards.
The 60-year-old will be presented with BET's Lifetime Achievement Award at the Sunday's ceremony, hosted by Jamie Foxx.
Past honorees, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter, include Whitney Houston, Prince and Samuel L. Jackson.
"With a career that spanned nearly four decades, she made an everlasting impression on the sound of soul and R&B music that has inspired generations to come," BET said.
Baker took to Twitter to share her happiness, writing, "Its Official. Thank You, to My Family @BET "Can't Wait To CELEBRATE!"
This year's BET awards will take place on Sunday, June 24, in Los Angeles.
