BJP asks Kejriwal to focus on AAP, not worry about other parties

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday asked Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to focus on the AAP and not decide on the course of action of other parties.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson M.J. Akbar, who was reacting to Kejriwal's remark that the ruling dispensation at the Centre should initiate action against External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje for allegedly helping former IPL boss Lalit Modi, said the AAP chief is in charge of his own party and not of any other party.

"And he also waited for an enquiry just to establish whether something was correct or not. And as I said, the Finance Minister has already said that an enquiry is being conducted," he added.

Amid sharp criticism over the fake degree row of his former Cabinet colleague Jitender Singh Tomar, Kejriwal had yesterday attempted to downplay the issue by highlighting the Lalit Modi controversy.

Asserting that the government led by him would never tolerate any wrong doing, Kejriwal yesterday cited Tomar's resignation to justify his point and told the Delhi Assembly that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should initiate steps against Swaraj and Raje.
