Lampooning Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for dubbing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's package of 1.25 lakh crore as brazen effort to narrate a fairy tale to the people of Bihar, BJP on Wednesday challenged the former for a debate on the packages.
Addressing a Press conference, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari said: "Bihar is an important state of our nation. Social, economic development of Bihar is the primary goal of honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi."
"Frustrated Nitish is putting wrong allegations on Prime Minister's package of 1.25 lakh crore. I am ready to debate on all the packages on Bihar," he added.
Ahead of the Assembly elections in Bihar, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his rally in Ara had announced a package of Rs. 1.25 lakh crore for the State.
