Upping the ante for the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya, Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia on Sunday said that if Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) wants to know how to construct temples, it should learn it from the Scindia family.

While addressing a press conference in Jaipur in poll-bound Rajasthan, Scindia said, " If they (BJP) want to learn how to construct a temple, they should learn that from Scindia family, which made 60 temples across the state, including Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra without causing trouble to any community."

He said that the BJP has created an environment of intolerance in the country while adding that his party believes in creating an "environment of peace and tolerance."

Alleging a foul play in the assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, he said, "We've received reports that in many strong-rooms, CCTV and electricity were switched off for one or two hours. In Sagar, 48 hours after the polling ended, a bus without a number plate reached the strong room where 60-70 EVMs were kept. This raises many questions."

He promised that if the Congress party will form a government in the state, it will provide loan waivers of Rs. 2 lakh to the farmers.

The state of Rajasthan will go to polls on December 7 and the counting of votes will take place on December 11.
